Hey guys! Today, weโ€™re making something totally awesome โ€“ Tomato Jam! ๐Ÿ˜‹

This stuff is like ketchupโ€™s cooler cousin โ€“ sweet, tangy, and perfect for toast, burgers,

or anything you wanna add a burst of flavor to. Plus, itโ€™s super easy to make!

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs ripe tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional if you want a kick!)

Instructions:

1.Chop your tomatoes into small pieces. No need to be fancy โ€“ just get them into bite-sized bits

2.Throw all the ingredients (yup, everything) into a medium saucepan

3.Heat it up over medium-high heat until it starts bubbling.

4.Once itโ€™s bubbling, turn the heat down to low and let it simmer. Stir every now and then so it doesnโ€™t burn.

5.Keep cooking until it gets thick and jammy โ€“ around 1 to 1.5 hours. Youโ€™ll know itโ€™s ready when it looks like a jam, duh! ๐Ÿ˜†

6.Let it cool before you store it in a jar. Itโ€™ll keep in the fridge for about two weeks!
