Hey y’all! 🌟 If you love strawberries and cake (duh, who doesn’t?!), then you NEED to try this Southern Strawberry Punch Cake!

It’s like a party in your mouth with layers of fluffy cake, sweet strawberries, and a creamy topping. Perfect for any get-together or when you just want to treat yo’self. Let’s get into it! 🙌

Ingredients:

For the Cake:

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
  • 1 box (3 oz) strawberry gelatin mix (Jell-O)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water

For the Topping:

  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions:

  1. Bake the Cake: Prepare the strawberry cake mix according to the package instructions. Bake it in a 9×13-inch pan. Once it’s done, let it cool for about 15 minutes.

2.Poke Holes: Using the handle of a wooden spoon or a fork, poke holes all over the cooled cake. This is how we’re gonna get that strawberry flavor all the way through! 🍓

3.Strawberry Soak: In a bowl, mix the strawberry gelatin with 1 cup of boiling water until it’s completely dissolved. Then add 1/2 cup of cold water. Pour this mixture evenly over the cake, making sure it seeps into all the holes. Pop the cake into the fridge for at least an hour to chill.

4.Make the Topping: In a medium bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until it’s thick. Fold in the whipped topping until it’s smooth and fluffy.

Top It Off: Spread the creamy topping evenly over the chilled cake. Arrange the sliced strawberries on top in a cute pattern. Go wild—this is your masterpiece! 🎨

Chill & Serve: Refrigerate the cake for another hour (or more) to let all those flavors hang out together. Slice, serve, and watch everyone’s eyes light up when they take a bite! 😍
