Ingredients :
2 lb stewing beef and cut into chunks
1 cup chopped onions
2 tsp dried thyme
2 garlic cloves minced
2 bay leaves
1 cup beef broth
1 cup dry red wine
2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 cup chopped carrots
1 cup diced potatoes
½ cup chopped celery
Directions :
1. As directed in the basic rules of this eBook, sterilize bottles in a pressure canner. Enable bottles to cool before using.
2. In a large saucepan, combine meat, thyme, onions, bay leaves, garlic, broth, and wine. Black pepper and salt to taste. Turn the heat on and close the lid. Bring to boil for 10 minutes and reduce to low heat for another 10 minutes.
3. Add veggies and cook for a further 5 minutes. Turn heat off.
4. Fill sterilized bottles with a mixture.
5. Pop air bubbles inside and seals them.
6. Fill the pressure canner with jars. Fill the pressure canner halfway with water and process for 25 minutes.
