Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef (or thinly sliced steak)
- 8 oz pasta (penne or any shape you like)
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta: Boil your pasta according to the package directions, drain, and set aside.
Cook the beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef (or steak) and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
Add veggies: Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the veggies are soft, about 4-5 minutes.
Make the sauce: Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Cheesy goodness: Stir in the shredded cheese until it’s melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Mix it all together: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined.
Serve and enjoy: Serve hot and enjoy your cheesy Philly Cheesesteak Pasta!
