Hey guys! Today, we’re turning the classic Philly cheesesteak into an epic meatloaf!

It’s cheesy, beefy, and packed with all the flavors you love from the sandwich. Let’s make it!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sauté the veggies: In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms (if using) and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Let it cool slightly.

Mix the meatloaf: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, sautéed veggies, eggs, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix it all together until combined.

Shape the loaf: Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan or shape it into a loaf on a baking sheet.

Add the cheese: Make a groove in the center of the meatloaf and stuff it with the shredded cheese. Close it back up so the cheese is hidden inside.

Bake: Pop the meatloaf in the oven and bake for about 45-50 minutes, until it’s fully cooked.

Serve: Let it rest for a few minutes, slice it up, and enjoy the cheesy, meaty goodness!
