Hey foodies! 🍝 Today, I’m sharing this super tasty Italian Meatloaf recipe.

It’s got all the classic Italian flavors and is perfect for family dinners

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef
  • ½ lb Italian sausage
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Italian seasoned)
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (divided)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

1.Mix it up! In a big bowl, throw in the ground beef, Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, eggs, Parmesan, onion, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Get your hands in there and mix everything together! Just make sure not to over-mix, or it’ll get tough

2.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

3.Shape the loaf: Take the meat mixture and form it into a loaf shape. Place it into the prepared pan.

4.Top with sauce: Spread about ½ cup of marinara sauce over the top of the meatloaf. This keeps it juicy and adds extra flavor.

5.Bake it up! Pop it into the oven for about 45 minutes.Add the cheese: Pull out the loaf and sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top. Bake for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden

Rest: Let the meatloaf sit for 10 minutes before slicing. Top it with fresh parsley if you wanna get fancy.
