Hey guys! Today, we’re making an awesome retro dish—Impossible Cheeseburger Pie!
It’s basically a cheeseburger in pie form, super easy, and totally delicious. Let’s get cooking!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup Bisquick mix
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- Optional: Pickles, ketchup, or mustard for toppings
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook the beef: In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain the excess fat.
Add the beef to the pie dish: Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly into a greased 9-inch pie dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Make the batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together the Bisquick mix, milk, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour the batter over the beef and cheese in the pie dish.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Serve: Let the pie cool for a few minutes, then slice it up! Add your favorite cheeseburger toppings like pickles, ketchup, or mustard, and enjoy!
