“This garlic butter lobster and scallops recipe is rich, flavorful, and perfect for an impressive dinner with minimal effort.”
Ingredients:
- 2 lobster tails, split in half
- 1/2 pound scallops
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Prep the seafood: Split the lobster tails in half and pat the scallops dry with a paper towel.
Melt the butter: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice and set aside.
Cook the lobster: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. Place the lobster tails flesh-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook the shell side for another 3-4 minutes. Brush with the garlic butter while cooking.
Cook the scallops: In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed. Sear the scallops for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they’re golden brown and cooked through. Drizzle with garlic butter while cooking.
Serve: Serve the lobster and scallops hot, drizzled with extra garlic butter and garnished with fresh parsley.
