If you want Chicken Parmesan but don’t feel like standing by the stove, this Slow Cooker Chicken Parmesan is a total game-changer! It’s super simple,

cheesy, and makes your kitchen smell like an Italian restaurant—without all the work. Let’s get to it! 🍝🧀

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (optional for crispy topping)
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional but fancy)
  • Cooked pasta (to serve with, if you want)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the chicken: Season your chicken breasts with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2.Layer it in the slow cooker: Pour a little bit of marinara sauce at the bottom of your slow cooker. Lay the chicken breasts on top, then pour the rest of the marinara sauce over them. Cover the chicken completely in sauce.

3.Cook it slow: Put the lid on and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours. The chicken should be tender and juicy by the time it’s done!

4.Add the cheese: About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the chicken. If you want that crispy breadcrumb topping, mix the breadcrumbs with a little melted butter and sprinkle on top too. Put the lid back on and let the cheese melt.

Serve: Serve your chicken over pasta (if you’re into that), and garnish with fresh basil for extra flavor!
