🍽️ Perfect for those lazy days or when you wanna impress the fam without doing too much work. Let’s gooo!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (or Italian sausage if you want extra flavor)
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 package lasagna noodles (uncooked)
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • 1 egg (optional, for ricotta mix

1.Cook the Meat: In a pan, brown the ground beef or sausage on medium heat. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and basil. Once it’s fully cooked, drain any extra fat and stir in the marinara sauce and crushed tomatoes. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.

2.Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella, Parmesan, and the egg (optional, but makes it creamier!). Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

3.Layer It Up: Now for the fun part! In your crockpot, start with a layer of the meat sauce at the bottom. Then, break up some uncooked lasagna noodles to fit and cover the sauce.

4.Spread a layer of the ricotta mixture on top of the noodles. Repeat the layers (sauce, noodles, cheese) until you run out of ingredients

5.Cook Time: Cover the crockpot and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours. You’ll know it’s ready when the noodles are tender and everything is bubbling with cheesy goodness.

Serve It Up: Scoop out your lasagna into bowls or plates, garnish with a little extra Parmesan if you’re feelin’ fancy, and dig in!
