Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine or your favorite pasta
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 pound smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta: Boil the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
Cook the sausage and shrimp: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage slices and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside. Add the shrimp to the same skillet and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook until the shrimp turn pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
