“This Cajun Honey Butter Salmon recipe is packed with flavor and super easy to make. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner!”
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lemon (for squeezing)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Season the salmon: Rub Cajun seasoning on both sides of each salmon fillet. Add a little salt and pepper if needed.
Heat the pan: In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Cook the salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the pan. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and crispy on the outside.
Make the honey butter: While the salmon is cooking, in a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and mix in the honey.
Add the honey butter: Pour the honey butter over the salmon during the last minute of cooking. Let it bubble and caramelize for extra flavor!
Serve: Squeeze a little lemon juice over the salmon and garnish with parsley if you want to make it look fancy. Serve with your favorite veggies or rice.
