Hey guys! Today, we’re making a quick and flavorful dish—Black Pepper Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry

It’s super tasty, easy to whip up, and perfect for a weeknight dinner. Let’s get started!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb beef (sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced
  • 1/2 head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Optional: Green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prep the beef: In a small bowl, mix the sliced beef with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and cornstarch. Set aside for 10 minutes to marinate.

Cook the beef: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.

Sauté the veggies: In the same skillet, add the onion, cabbage, and minced garlic. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until the veggies are soft but still a bit crunchy.

Season and combine: Add the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and water. Stir everything together, then add the cooked beef back into the skillet. Toss until everything is coated in the sauce.

Serve: Garnish with green onions if you like, and serve hot with rice or noodles. Enjoy!
