Hey guys! Today, I’m making something seriously awesome—Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes!
It’s like the ultimate dinner, all in one pan. Juicy steak and crispy potatoes, smothered in garlic butter—what could be better? Let’s get cooking!
Ingredients:
- 2 ribeye steaks (or any steak you like)
- 4-5 small potatoes (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried rosemary (or fresh if you have it)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Cook the potatoes: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the potatoes and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they’re crispy and golden brown. Season with salt and pepper. Once done, move them to a plate.
Cook the steak: Season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper. In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side (depending on how you like it—medium-rare or more well-done). Once cooked, remove from the skillet and let it rest.
Make the garlic butter: In the skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and rosemary, cooking until the garlic is fragrant (about 1 minute).
Put it all together: Add the potatoes back into the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter. Slice the steak and drizzle some of that garlic butter over it
Serve: Plate the steak and potatoes, and garnish with fresh parsley if you want to get fancy. Enjoy!
