What’s up, guys! Today, I’m cooking up something super fancy but really easy—Lemon Butter Crab!
It’s packed with flavor, buttery goodness, and a little zing from the lemon. Perfect for when you want to impress without too much effort! Let’s get started!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb crab legs or lump crab meat (fresh or frozen)
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions:
- Prep the crab: If using frozen crab, make sure to thaw it completely. If using fresh crab legs, crack them open so the meat is easy to access.
Make the lemon butter: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the lemon: Stir in the lemon juice and zest. Let it cook for another minute, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook the crab: Add the crab to the pan, stirring gently to coat all the pieces in the lemon butter sauce. Let it cook for 3-5 minutes to heat through and soak up all that flavor.
Serve it up: Transfer the crab to a plate and drizzle any extra lemon butter over the top. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for extra zing!
