Ingredients:

  • 1 pound sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the broiler: Set your oven to broil and position the rack about 6 inches from the heat source.

Prep the scallops: Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel and place them in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Make the butter mixture: In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Brush the mixture over the scallops.

Season: Sprinkle the scallops with salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese if you’re using it
