Ingredients:
- 4 lobster tails
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions:
- Prep the lobster: Cut the lobster tails down the middle (lengthwise) to split the shells, but leave the meat attached.
Season the flour: In a bowl, mix together the flour, cornmeal, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
Buttermilk bath: Pour the buttermilk into another
bowl.Coat the lobster: Dip each lobster tail in the buttermilk, then coat it in the seasoned flour mixture, making sure it’s fully covered
Heat the oil: Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pot or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
