Hey guys! Today, I’m going to show you how to make a super tasty and cozy dish—Chicken and Cornbread Stuffing.

It’s a perfect dinner idea that’s comforting, delicious, and really easy to make. Let’s get started!

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups cooked chicken (shredded or cubed)
  • 4 cups cornbread (crumbled)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 celery stalk, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried sage (optional, for that classic stuffing flavor)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter (for sautéing veggies)
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Prep the Chicken:

If you don’t have cooked chicken already, just boil or bake a couple of chicken breasts until they’re fully cooked, then shred or cube them. Set aside.

2. Sauté the Veggies:

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and celery, and cook for about 5 minutes until they’re soft. This adds flavor and texture to the stuffing!

3. Mix the Cornbread Stuffing:

In a large bowl, combine the crumbled cornbread, cooked chicken, sautéed onions and celery, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, sage, and black pepper. Stir until everything is well mixed.

4. Bake It:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the stuffing mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and crispy.

5. Serve:

Once it’s done, take it out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. You can garnish with fresh parsley if you like! Serve warm and enjoy your delicious Chicken and Cornbread Stuffing.
