Hey guys! Who loves Wendy’s chili?! 🌶 Today, I’m showing you how to make Wendy’s Copycat Chili at home, and trust me,

it tastes just like the real deal. Perfect for a cozy night or game day, so let’s get started!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans (drained)
  • 1 can (15 oz) pinto beans (drained)
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (4 oz) diced green chilies
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 celery stalk (chopped)
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the beef: In a big pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until it’s fully cooked. Drain any extra fat.

Add veggies: Toss in the chopped onion, bell pepper, and celery. Cook for about 5 minutes until the veggies soften.

Dump in the rest: Add the kidney beans, pinto beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and green chilies to the pot. Stir everything together.

Season it up: Add the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour in the 2 cups of water and stir again.

Simmer: Let the chili cook on low heat for about 45 minutes to an hour, stirring occasionally. The longer it cooks, the better the flavors will be!

Serve: Ladle up your copycat Wendy’s chili into bowls, and add your fave toppings like cheese, sour cream, or crackers. YUM! 😋
