Hey guys! Today we’re making a classic: Sausage, Peppers, and Onions! 🍴 This dish is so simple but SO flavorful.

Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner, or if you’re just craving something yummy. Let’s dive in!

Ingredients:

  • 4 Italian sausages (spicy or mild, your call!)
  • 2 bell peppers (any color, mix it up!)
  • 1 large onion (slice it up)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • Optional: Hoagie rolls for serving

Instructions:

  1. Cook the sausage: Heat a pan over medium heat, add a bit of olive oil, and cook the sausages until browned on all sides (about 8-10 minutes). Once done, remove from the pan and set aside.

2.Sauté peppers and onions: In the same pan, add more olive oil if needed, then throw in the sliced onions and bell peppers. Cook them for about 5-7 minutes until they soften and start to brown.

Add garlic: Toss in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant. Don’t let it burn!

Slice the sausage: Slice up the sausages into thick pieces and add them back to the pan. Stir everything together.

Season it up: Sprinkle in the salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix it up, and let it cook for another 5 minutes so the flavors blend together.

Serve: You can eat it as is or stuff everything into hoagie rolls for a sausage sandwich. 😋
