and tastes WAY better than anything from a jar. Plus, it only takes like 5 minutes. Let’s make some magic! 🌿✨

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves (gotta keep it green)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ⅓ cup pine nuts (or swap for walnuts if you don’t have pine nuts)
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Juice of ½ lemon (optional but adds a lil’ zing)n

Instructions:

  1. Blend it up: Grab your food processor (or a blender) and toss in the basil, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, and garlic. Pulse it a few times to get everything chopped up.

2.Add the oil: While the food processor is running, slowly pour in the olive oil. It’ll start to turn into that creamy pesto goodness. If it’s too thick, add a bit more oil.

3.Season it: Add a squeeze of lemon juice (if using), then season with salt and pepper. Pulse it again until everything’s well mixed.

4.Taste test: Give it a little taste—if it needs more salt or lemon, now’s the time to adjust. Boom, you’re done!

Serve it up: Toss your fresh pesto with pasta, spread it on sandwiches, or use it as a dip. It’s seriously good on everything!
