Ingredients:

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Cook the pasta: Boil the jumbo shells according to package directions until al dente. Drain and let them cool.

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Prepare the filling: In a bowl, mix together the cooked chicken, ricotta cheese, ½ cup mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Stuff the shells: Carefully spoon the chicken mixture into each pasta shell. Place the stuffed shells in the greased baking dish.

Add the sauce: Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of mozzarella cheese on top.

Bake it: Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish & serve: Let the shells cool for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh basil or parsley if you’re feeling fancy. Enjoy!
