Yo, what’s up, guys? Today we’re making something super delicious that’ll make you love Brussels sprouts forever –
Smashed Brussels Sprouts! 🥬 These little crispy bites are like fries but healthier and way yummier.
You’ll want to eat the whole batch, trust me. 😍
Ingredients:
1 lb Brussels sprouts
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, but SO good!)
Instructions:
1.Boil the Brussels sprouts: Bring a big pot of water to a boil, toss in your Brussels sprouts, and cook them for about 10-15 minutes, or until they’re soft enough to smash
2.Drain and dry them with paper towels. You don’t want them soggy!
3.Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
4.Place the Brussels sprouts on the baking sheet, and smash them with the bottom of a glass. Get them flat but not falling apart.
5.Drizzle olive oil all over the smashed sprouts, and then sprinkle on garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Don’t be shy with the seasoning
6.Bake for 20-25 minutes until they’re super crispy and golden brown.
7.If you’re feeling fancy, sprinkle some Parmesan on top during the last 5 minutes of baking. It’ll melt and make everything cheesy. 🧀
