8 oz spaghetti (break it in half to fit in the pot)
Fresh basil or parsley (optional, for that fancy look)
Instructions:
1.Make the Meatballs: In a bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Roll the mix into meatballs, about the size of a golf ball. You should get around 12-15 meatballs.
2.Sauté the Meatballs: Turn your Instant Pot to the sauté setting. Add the olive oil and let it heat up. Brown the meatballs in batches (don’t overcrowd!) until they’re browned on all sides. It’ll take about 5 minutes per batch
3.Layer It Up: Pour a little bit of the marinara sauce in the Instant Pot to deglaze (that’s a fancy word for scraping up all the yummy bits stuck to the bottom). Then, place the meatballs back in, pour the rest of the sauce on top, and add the spaghetti. Pour the water over everything,
4.Cook Time: Lock the lid in place, set the Instant Pot to high pressure, and cook for 8 minutes. Once it’s done, do a quick release (careful, it’s hot!). Open the lid and give everything a good stir.
5.Serve and Enjoy: Dish out your spaghetti and meatballs, sprinkle some fresh basil or parsley on top if you’re feeling extra, and voila! Dinner is served.
And there you have it, peeps! Spaghetti and meatballs made super easy and super fast, all thanks to the Instant Pot. Perfect for a chill night in or when you just want a cozy meal without the hassle. Catch you next time! 🍝
