Hey, pasta fans! 🧀🍝 If you love cheese (like, A LOT),
then this 4 Cheese Beef Lasagna is gonna be your new fave!
It’s layered with juicy beef, saucy goodness, and four types of cheese. Ready to dive in? Let’s do it!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 9 lasagna noodles (cooked)
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2.Cook the beef: In a large pan, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Add garlic, oregano, and basil, and cook for 1-2 more minutes. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
3.Mix the cheese filling: In a bowl, combine the ricotta, egg, and half the Parmesan. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until smooth.
Layer it up! In the baking dish, start with a little bit of sauce on the bottom. Then layer like this:
- 3 lasagna noodles
- ⅓ of the beef sauce
- ⅓ of the ricotta mix
- A sprinkle of mozzarella and provolone Repeat two more times until you’ve used up all the ingredients.
5.Top it off: Finish with the remaining mozzarella, provolone, and Parmesan on top.
6.Bake it: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Rest & serve: Let it cool for 10 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley and serve!
